  • Utang na loob is a Filipino cultural belief and value which honors and creates an obligation to repay a debt of gratitude that is beyond financial 

 

We learn communication from our family, our culture, our friend groups. When socialized to anticipate and read between the lines, we don’t access the direct, clear and verbal communication to get our needs met.
